A THESIS AWARD FROM THE ITALIAN ASSOCIATION OF MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGIES (A.I.TE.M.) IN MEMORY OF PROF. FABIO SOAVI, PROFESSOR OF MECHANICAL TECHNOLOGY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BOLOGNA.

This initiative aims at honouring the best Engineering graduates who wrote an MD thesis on a topic of interest to the Association, as well as encouraging Engineering students to dedicate the last part of their course of study to mechanical manufacturing and to potentially carry on with the study of it.
To this aim, the following subject areas are considered of particular interest to A.I.TE.M.:

·Assembly and joining processes
·Quality management
·Product/process planning and optimization
·Unconventional manufacturing
