Manuthon ® is back with its third edition, taking place on 19th-20th April in Reggio Emilia hosted by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia at Laboratori Aperti dei Chiostri di San Pietro.
Manuthon ® aims at bringing the energy and creativity of Hackathon challenges into the manufacturing industry, and represents a golden opportunity to test the skills of about 100 university students (degree and master degree, PhDs, etc.) or graduates under 32 to develop innovative solutions or ideas responding to challenges proposed by leading manufacturing companies.
The challenges are being defined and will be proposed by three companies that have decided to sponsor the event and be its protagonists: Nikon SLM Solutions, 76 Industrial Graphics, and the 5GTimber consortium. The event organisation is also sponsored by the companies Vimi Fasteners and Iprel Progetti – Gruppo Sacmi. More information on the industrial challenges will soon be available on the event website.
Participation is free of charge. It is possible to register on the official website https://www.manuthon.it/. Candidates must register individually but can choose to participate with a pre-set group. The no-stop competition will last 30 hours, and money prizes will be awarded to the winners. The winning team will be awarded 1,500€. In addition, the groups conceiving the best ideas/solutions for the industrial challenges will receive 1,000€ each.
