Stress and lack of attention are the main causes of workplace accidents in industry and affect workers' performance. The No-Stress Manufacturing project, funded by EIT Manufacturing, studies the stress levels of human workers, both in a real industrial context and in the laboratory, with the aim of developing a monitoring system that will help improve the working conditions of workers and the production efficiency of manufacturing companies. The system will acquire and analyse in real time the movement and neurophysiological parameters of workers during the execution of production activities and will facilitate their interaction with a voice assistant in order to also verify the psychological reactions and feedback of the operators. From the analysis of the data, the causes of workers' stress will be identified in order to develop new solutions for human-centred working environments and human well-being.
