INNOVATIVE TOOLS AND TOPICS IN MANUFACTURING PROCESSES AND PRODUCTION SYSTEMS: CASE STUDY ANALYSIS
Università degli Studi di Perugia, Dipartimento di Ingegneria
Via Goffredo Duranti, 93, Perugia
10-11 Settembre 2024
PURPOSE
The course aims to provide an overview of the state of the art on the most innovative tools and topics in the area of manufacturing processes and production systems. The course will focus attention on the most current investigation methods and techniques, as well as on the methods of organizing the research itself, also providing the opportunity to learn the use of manufacturing processes simulation software. A significant part of the course will be dedicated to the discussion of case studies.
WHO IS IT FOR
The course is mainly intended for academic research personnel (mainly doctoral students, research fellows and young researchers in the scientific-disciplinary sector ING-IND/16 or related sectors) and industrial personnel actively engaged in R&D activities.
Plan
The course will present the main topics dealt with by the Sezioni of the Association which develop and disseminate the most advanced knowledge in sectors considered strategic in manufacturing research activities. They represent the bridge between the Association and the Italian industry. A part of the course is dedicated to manufacturing process simulation software tool provided by EcoTre Valente srl and for which a temporary use license will be issued to each participant.
The interventions will be made by professors and researchers engaged in research activities that the Sezioni are currently carrying out, as well as by the technical staff of EcoTre Valente srl. The course will be organized in parallel sessions, according to the program shown below. The participants will preliminary specify, during application, the sessions to be attended.
The course will take place during the AITEM WorkshopParticipants will therefore have the opportunity to attend the Workshop in the afternoon and the gala dinner.
