Incremental forming of sheets made of pure polymers or of polymeric-based composite material. The thought solution allows to work sheets made of polymeric matrices reinforced with long fibers. Indeed, a specific equipment was designed and built within the laboratories of the department. In summary, the flow of an oil inside the working volume is controlled by specific devices. The liquid permits the dual function of supporting the sheet during the forming phase and of guaranteeing a controlled temperature. The suitable viscoelastic conditions of the material can be therefore maintained during the all process phases.
